Denver is a 1.5 year old male Australian Shepard mix. He is an incredible play-mate and house protector. He loves playing catch with his ball, and bringing you any of his toys when you tell him to. He knows basic commands like: sit, leave it, stay, lie down. He sleeps all night long, and will snuggle you in the bed for as long as you’d like, if you’d like. He does not mind taking baths, and will stand still until you are done.

Denver is timid when around men. His first home was directly a woman, so he was never properly exposed to men as a young pup. My husband is a paramedic and is gone for 48 hours straight, then comes home. Every time my husband comes home, it’s like meeting him for the first time all over again. It is, unfortunately, not suitable for our home as Denver will bark and be very protective every time my husband nears him. Denver is still young enough to warm up to men, if given the proper training.

He is house broken, and will whine to let you know he needs to go out.
Overall, he is a great pup, and it is heart wrecking to have to give him up. I am hoping to find him a home that has the patience and training that is needed for him.
